About The Position

GlobalLogic is seeking a Front-End Developer with a focus on UI technologies. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS3, along with strong knowledge of web communications such as HTTP, REST, WebSocket, and IPC. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and is a full-time management role within the Digital System & Service segment of Hitachi Services & Platforms.

Requirements

• Experience in front-end development with a focus on UI technologies.
• Experience with mobile-first design and creating progressive web apps (PWAs).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and working with serverless architecture.
• Experience in developing embedded software.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deep experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
• Experience with responsive design and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of Version Control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end code with back-end services.
• Familiarity with State management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
