Under the general direction of the Manager on Duty, facilitate the shift. Must be able to handle returns and POS issues. Monitor for customer traffic and call for more cashiers as necessary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets customers. Demonstrates friendly and prompt service and acts as a role model for staff. Answers phones and gives excellent phone service. Routes and filters calls to the appropriate departments. Knows and adheres to company service standards as outlined by management and the owner. Is respectful at all times. Responds to feedback and suggestions constructively. Communicates openly and honestly with all others in the organization. Resolves customer conflicts respectfully and in a timely manner. Asks for assistance from the appropriate supervisor(s) as needed. Checks communication log and Turnip Truck email throughout each shift. Adheres to all dress-code and company uniform policies. Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on-time. Understands and adheres to organizational and departmental policy and procedures. Accepts direction willingly and follows through with delegated tasks. Cooperates and quickly adapts to new guidelines and tasks. Maintains job-related confidentiality. Performs tasks consistently at an acceptable rate as outlined by MODs. Achieves established goals and expected results for the department. Organizes tasks efficiently, maintains focus and stays productive. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responds to customer service needs, both in person and over the phone, quickly and respectfully. Processes returns and product exchanges in accordance with company policy. -handling procedures are followed.
