About The Position

Shift: The ideal applicant would be able to work any shift and cover another shift if needed. Starting at $15.50 an hour Are you a people person? Sleep Inn is newly REMODELED and located on the grounds of Joplin 44 Petro, we provide customers with highway hospitality and a place where people want to stop. Front Desk employees play an integral part in our business. You will work with an exciting and fun group of individuals at Sleep Inn!

Requirements

• Ability to deal effectively and interact daily with the customers and employees
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Joplin 44 is committed to providing a safe work environment. We require a pre-employment drug test for any drugs causing impairment which includes recreational marijuana. We complete background checks as well and do random drug testing for every employee.
• This is an on-site position and not remote.

Responsibilities

• Preform all visitor reservations
• Welcome guests and assign rooms
• Verify customers payment methods
• Maintain updated records of reservations and payments
• Ability to deal effectively and interact daily with the customers and employees
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Help with housekeeping when needed
• Laundry
• Sweeping and moping
• Taking out trash
