About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/South Park is responsible for the overall operation of guest services. This includes suite rental, reservation management, associate staffing, training, record keeping, report preparation, and guest relations. The supervisor will also act as the property Manager on Duty when assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel front office experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening and problem solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Applied advance knowledge of Excel and Word. Must be computer literate.
  • Possess outstanding organizational skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Flexible schedule including evening and weekends required.
  • Adaptability.
  • Report and accounting skills.
  • Guest relation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure an environment in which high standards of comfort, service, and quality exist for our guests.
  • Ensure teamwork and enhance cooperation between all departments.
  • Cooperate with Managers and all Front Office staff to ensure proper suite inventory controls.
  • Manage and maintain a relationship with the Property Management System provider.
  • Work with maintenance to ensure proper key controls.
  • Maintain departmental staffing levels in relation to occupancy levels.
  • Provide comprehensive training to Front Office staff.
  • Cover call-out shifts and have flexible scheduling including evening and weekends.
