About The Position

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper staffing levels and managing the front office team, which includes hiring, training, and scheduling staff. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of front office operations and the ability to perform various duties as needed. The supervisor will also manage the MICROS system for daily transactions and maintain communication with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Ability to calmly work with high demand and/or upset guests.
  • High work ethic and self-initiative.
  • One year previous hotel front office supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling staff.
  • Understand and perform the roles and duties of Front Office staff as needed.
  • Manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including all daily transactions.
  • Check AM and PM discrepancy reports accurately.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest room requests and maintenance needs.
  • Greet and communicate cordially with guests, checking them in and out of the hotel promptly and professionally.

Benefits

  • Starting pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
