About The Position

The Front Desk - RV position serves as the primary point of contact for guests and customers at an RV park or dealership, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role is critical in managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, while providing detailed information about the facilities, services, and local attractions. The individual in this position will handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential to address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall positive reputation and smooth operation of the RV facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles; hospitality or RV resort experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including reservation systems, payment processing, and email communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RV park or campground reservation software.
  • Familiarity with RV sites, hookups (water, sewer, electric), and basic campground operations.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services.
  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Customer service or hospitality-related training or certification.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests at the front desk, providing friendly and professional service.
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using RV resort software.
  • Answer phones and respond to guest questions about availability, rates, amenities, and policies.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain guest records.
  • Assign sites or cabins and provide directions and resort information.
  • Communicate guest needs with maintenance and housekeeping teams.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
