Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously handle patient and family interactions with other staff.
  • Technology proficiency: familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy
  • Greeting patients and handling check-in/check-out process
  • Collecting patient payments
  • Verifying patient demographic and insurance information, updating as needed
  • Other duties as required
