About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at Extended Stay Hotels in Schaumburg, IL. Requirements

• 1 year of hotel experience is required.
• Proficient in hotel management software and phone systems.
• Strong understanding of guest relations principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus to cater to a diverse clientele.
• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred, especially in a resort or hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications while maintaining accurate records.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports for management.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
• Operate phone systems efficiently, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette in all communications.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences and resolve issues as they arise.

Benefits
