About The Position
IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A FULL-TIME FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST NEEDED FOR A BUSY SPECIALTY MEDICAL CLINIC IN NEW IBERIA CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF MEDICAL FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE FOR A LARGE CLINIC. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION (MONDAY - THURSDAY 7:45-5 AND FRIDAY 7:45-3). CANDIDATES MUST BE PERSONABLE AND BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK. KNOWLEDGE OF MEDICAL INSURANCE PLANS IS PREFERRED. CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE A LARGER PATIENT VOLUME FOR 3 DIFFERENT PROVIDERS
Requirements
- At least 3 years of medical front desk experience for a large clinic
- Must be personable
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be able to handle a larger patient volume for 3 different providers

- Knowledge of medical insurance plans
Responsibilities
- Checking in patients
- Verifying and scanning insurance cards and ID's
- Answering phones
- Routing messages in EHR
- Scanning documents
- Working fax folder
