About The Position

Delta by Marriott Utica is seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. As the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee daily front desk operations, manage guest services, and coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth and efficient hotel operations in our Utica, NY location.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or management roles preferred.
  • Proficient with hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train front desk staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage daily front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Assist in payroll and scheduling for front desk staff as needed.
  • Report to hotel management regarding operational issues and guest feedback.
