About The Position

As the Front Desk Manager, you will be the guiding force of our Upper East Side Front Desk Team, embodying AIRE's Principles of Service Excellence. Your dedication will also ensure the seamless operation of the Front Desk Department.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk role.
  • 1 year leading a team within the hospitality, fitness, or wellness industry.
  • Experience with onboarding and training new hires.
  • Experience with team building.
  • Experience working with booking/reservation systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.
  • Organized and capable of following detailed instructions.
  • Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guarantee a suitable environment and atmosphere at the Front Desk, following AIRE's guidelines and style book.
  • Evaluate compliance with the Front desk Team's Protocols and Standards.
  • Identify and resolve any incidents or special situations that may affect the client experience.
  • Guarantee the implementation of the cleaning and sanitation processes set out in the company's protocols.
  • Provide support in the management of group and VIP bookings.
  • Promote communication with the organization's Contact Centre.
  • Ensure that the daily briefing is carried out by the team.
  • Supervise the inventory of the different products in the area.
  • Carry out the sale and collection of the different products marketed in the reception area.
  • Make weekly and daily reports of incidents, improvements, and events of interest.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the Front Desk Team.
  • Provide individual feedback to the members of the team on their performance.
  • Generate work dynamics in your team that promote teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and supervise the work of the Front Desk Team.
  • Plan and implement employee schedules.
