The ideal candidate for this position would be someone that exhibits high energy and enjoys working with kids in a fun environment. This position is a part-time and requires you to stand, walk alongside the pool deck and gymnastics floor area and throughout the facility. Must be able to work on the following schedule: Tuesdays 9:00am - 1:00pm or 3:00pm - 7:00pm Wednesdays 9:00am - 1:00pm or 3:00pm - 7:00pm Thursdays 9:00am - 1:00pm or 3:00pm - 7:00pm Saturday 8:30am - 2:00pm Candidate Must: Be an advocate for creating a fun environment Be professional and a good first impression of the company Greet and welcome families Have good communication skills both verbal and written communication (in-person/over the phone, and email communication) Love kids and enjoy interacting with kids Demonstrate a strong desire to make a difference Display adaptability and decision-making skills in a fast-paced atmosphere Possess a growth mindset approach to informing and educating customers on the swim and gymnastics program Be comfortable not wearing shoes Primary Functions of Position: Eager, frequent, and professional communication with clients in-person, on the phone, and through writing to schedule trials, lessons, answer inquiries, and collect tuition, responsible for kiddos getting to correct classes on pool deck and gymnastic floor. Sharing friendly knowledge to guide purchases to increase enrollment, registration, and sale transactions Educate and inform customers and potential customers on current or new services available Create and build a professional connection with customers and students to learn how to better assist them Have a growth mindset to build on skills and knowledge and provide suggestions/feedback to better improve processes and opportunities to attract customers Coordinate with Gymnastics Manager and Aquatics Manager to organize a safe flow of the front desk area to monitor entry and exit for customers for swim and gymnastics lessons. During idle times conduct facility walk throughs to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility at all times (checking the floors, bathrooms and changing rooms, and ensuring supplies are stocked) Utilize computer software to register new members, maintain accurate records, and collect tuition Coordinating with team members for smooth shift transitions and achieving quarterly goals Ad Hoc Duties: Cleaning the bathroom and changing room area. Cleaning the pool deck and gymnastics equipment Cleaning and organizing the front desk area Using the Emergency Action Plan to clean particles from the pools, floors, and the changing rooms This position does require frequent standing, bending, and walking around the facility Education and Experience Requirements: Some College Education preferred 2 years of customer service experience and/or sales preferred Salary and Hours: Part-time Hours (Less than 32 hours per week) Pay $14.50 per hour
