About The Position

The Overnight Front Desk Hospitality Agent at Sonder is a pivotal role responsible for creating exceptional first impressions and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The agent will handle guest interactions with professionalism, maintain cleanliness and organization in guest-facing areas, and support back-of-house operations as needed. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in hotels, restaurants, or customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Personable and service-minded with a positive attitude towards guest interactions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest needs.
• Strong computer literacy and writing skills, comfortable with multiple applications.
• Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented, thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible schedule, open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in additional languages is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sonder, creating an exceptional first impression for guests and visitors.
• Guide guests through the Sonder experience, ensuring they utilize the app and self-service features effectively.
• Communicate with guests in-person and digitally to anticipate and address their needs.
• Handle guest interactions with high-quality service, resolving issues and accommodating requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest-facing and back-of-house areas.
• Support back-of-house operations, including housekeeping audits and minor maintenance tasks.
• Assist market leadership with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up and manage breakfast service where applicable.
