Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Register guests and assign rooms.
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible.
  • Understand and adhere to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Track room status and updates.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status and special requests.
  • Use proper telephone etiquette and handle mail, packages, and messages appropriately.
  • Obtain proper identification for tax-exempt guests and attach necessary forms to registration cards.
  • Stay informed about daily activities and meetings in the hotel.
  • Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
