About The Position

The Front Desk Concierge at Congressional Country Club is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests, ensuring a world-class experience. This role involves assisting with front office operations, supporting youth events, and being the first and last point of contact for visitors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and teamwork, contributing positively to the club's environment.

Requirements

• Two years of customer service and hospitality experience required.
• Front Desk/Rooms experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests in all front office-related areas.
• Support youth events and provide a world-class experience.
• Register members/guests and assign rooms, complying with special requests.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for registration.
• Check-in rooms into the Jonas Hotel System.
• Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
• Coordinate room status updates by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
• Process member/guest check-ins and outs, manage room keys, and post charges to accounts.
• Answer the phone within the first three rings using proper telephone etiquette.
• Process mail, packages, and messages.
• Read and initial the pass-on log and bulletin board daily to stay informed of daily activities and meetings.
• Count the bank at the beginning and end of every shift and ensure petty cash is accounted for.
• Coordinate guestroom maintenance work with the Engineering and Maintenance departments when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness within the Front Desk area.
• Make necessary purchases for events and work with vendors to reserve items.
• Analyze member data to identify demographic trends of the youth member population.
