About The Position

The Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida, is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and managing front desk operations during overnight shifts. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Previous experience in cash handling.
• Experience in a customer service environment is beneficial.
• Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to cross-train in night audit.

Responsibilities

• Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales from other systems and manual sales sheets.
• Handle front desk responsibilities, including resolving guest complaints independently, checking guests in and out, and posting charges for in-house accounts.
• Understand guest folio, explain billing, and make necessary corrections.
• Review pending advance deposits and charges.
• Quote room rates and room package information.
• Read group resumes and know daily activities of groups.
• Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments.
• Secure bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Maintain accurate paperwork related to front office operations.
• Check and balance daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
