About The Position

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during the afternoon and evening shifts at Cape Ann Marina. This role involves a variety of tasks, including guest check-in and check-out, managing reservations, handling inquiries, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and property management software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Check guests in and out of their accommodations, accurately processing payments and providing necessary information.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, offering assistance and solutions as needed.
  • Manage reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling reservations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest records and information.
  • Operate the property management system efficiently.
  • Balance cash drawer and complete daily reports.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Assist with guest luggage as needed.
  • Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
