MSI operates as an independent branch of Associa, as our parent company. Job Summary: Vista Ridge Community Center is seeking a Part-time, hourly Front Desk Associate with hourly pay rate at $15.16. This is a part-time position with varied hours that include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is a must. You may be asked to work major summer holidays (i.e., Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc.). Depending on your offer, this may be seasonal or a year-round position. Under the supervision and direction of the Vista Ridge Community Center and managers, part-time Front Desk Associates are responsible for greeting and checking in residents and collecting guest fees from members as they enter the facility as well as signing members up, renewing existing memberships, booking room rentals for residents and non-residents.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting residents upon entry and ensuring valid membership (EVERYONE coming in is scanned in)
  • Collecting money for guest fees and making sure to account for their receipts for nightly reconciliation
  • Enforcing the rules of the VRCC/VRHOA
  • Signing new residents up for a membership and ensuring proper steps are followed for each member type
  • Renewing existing memberships and ensuring proper steps are followed for each member type
  • Booking room rentals for both resident and non-residents and following proper SOP
  • Setting up/tearing down room rentals as well as setting up for VRCC events
  • Working occasional events with VRCC Managers that may include weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Checking hot tub chemicals in the Fall/Winter/Spring months to ensure safety levels
  • Walking community center grounds and ensuring trash is picked up and place looks tidy
  • Maintaining resident relationships with calm and friendly demeanor
  • Maintaining proper etiquette both over the phone and in person
  • Inspecting facilities to ensure safety standards are maintained
  • Be knowledgeable as to be able to provide general information about the community center
  • Assisting in ensuring daily revenue close outs are completed and balanced several times daily (money handling)
  • Assisting and responding to resident inquiries and complaints in person or via the shared email
  • Be present at the front desk at all times unless you working on job duties such as setting up events, opening/closing the building, walking the ground, dealing with a situation, etc.
  • Being able to problem solve on your own and be able to help in any situation a member or team member needs
  • Completing tasks assigned by the supervisor or the VR manager
