About The Position

The FS8 Front Desk Associate is responsible for creating an energizing first impression and maintaining a positive studio atmosphere. This role involves warmly greeting members and guests, managing class reservations, handling in-studio membership sign-ups, renewals, and questions about pricing, packages, and class formats. The associate will also sell and assist with FS8 merchandise, ensuring the retail area is stocked and visually appealing. Supporting social media efforts by capturing studio content, posting Stories, and engaging with the local wellness community online is also a key responsibility. Daily administrative tasks, including emails, scheduling support, and member communications, are part of the role, as is maintaining a clean and tidy studio environment. The associate will serve as a knowledgeable resource for members and prospects on classes, instructors, and the FS8 method, assist with studio setup and off-site events, communicate complaints to management, and report maintenance issues. The ideal candidate is genuinely passionate about Pilates, fitness, and wellness, a natural communicator, detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with social media, a self-starter, and sales-minded. They should be reliable, punctual, and proud of the space they help run. The position requires availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including consistent weekend shifts. Apex Wellness Group owns and manages F45 Training and FS8 studios nationwide, focusing on performance-driven functional training blended with elevated strength, mobility, and mind-body wellness experiences. FS8's mission is to create intelligent, low-impact, high-performance workouts that strengthen the body, improve mobility, and support long-term wellness by combining functional strength training with Pilates precision and mindful movement.

Requirements

  • Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including consistent weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday availability is required)
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital communication tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, retail, or front desk experience preferred
  • Experience with booking or studio management software a plus (Mindbody, etc.)
  • Interest or background in Pilates, yoga, or group fitness strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests warmly, create an energizing first impression, and maintain a positive studio atmosphere throughout every shift
  • Book, reschedule, and follow up on class reservations — proactively ensuring every member gets into their next class
  • Handle in-studio membership sign-ups, renewals, and questions about pricing, packages, and class formats
  • Sell and assist with FS8 merchandise, keeping the retail area stocked, organized, and visually appealing
  • Support social media efforts — capturing studio content, posting Stories, and engaging with the local wellness community online
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks including emails, scheduling support, and member communications
  • Maintain a clean, tidy studio — sweeping, wiping down equipment, restocking supplies, and keeping common areas pristine
  • Be a knowledgeable resource for members and prospects on classes, instructors, and the FS8 method
  • Assisting with studio set up and off site events
  • Communicating any employee or client complaints and grievances to management, and supporting a timely and appropriate resolution
  • Proactively identifying and reporting any visible maintenance or equipment issues to ensure a safe and seamless client experience
