About The Position

General responsibilities Check guests into and out of hotel in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner Efficiently and accurately handles all payments received at the property. this may be in the form of cash, credit card, etc Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to rooms and general information regarding the hotel, its amenities and the surrounding area and its businesses. Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with the appropriate greeting. Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures Post all charges to guest accounts in an accurate and timely manner. Upon checkout ensure that all charges and collect payment. Sell and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front desk experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral skills required
  • Positive interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent computer and typing skills required
  • Excel and Word proficiency is desired
