About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient hotel experience. This part-time, weekend position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required; hotel or front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems a plus
  • Reliable availability on weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to work flexible weekend shifts, including mornings, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
  • Process reservations, room assignments, room changes, and billing transactions
  • Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
  • Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
