About The Position

A Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming and providing friendly service to guests of the Golden Nugget hotel and casino.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Prior computer experience required
  • Must be guest oriented and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of office administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Provides professional, attentive service to all marina guests.
  • Assists in answering guests’ inquiries concerning accounts and general hotel information.
  • Registers guests, assigns slips, receives and disseminates guests’ messages and mail.
  • Also responsible for posting to guest accounts as appropriate.
  • Secures bank, makes change, accepts payments from guests in settlement of accounts, and deposits as per established policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
