About The Position

As a Front Desk Agent, you will play an integral role in creating distinct and authentic experiences for our guests. You will warmly and enthusiastically greet arriving guests, assisting them with check-in and check-out processes to ensure they feel comfortable and welcome. Additionally, you will provide information about hotel services and amenities, promoting the unique offerings of our property.

Requirements

  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a demanding schedule, with varying workdays and hours.
  • Experience: Previous experience in providing service to others and assisting in creating authentic travel experiences is preferred.
  • People Person: A passion for serving others and creating exceptional guest experiences is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including legible and grammatically correct writing.
  • Multi-tasking Ability: Capable of handling multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and detail-oriented service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with enthusiasm and warmth, anticipating their needs and assisting with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, maintaining a personal and welcoming spirit, regardless of the time of day or workload.
  • Create memorable experiences through a warm personality and the ability to relate to both guests and associates.
  • Take the initiative to resolve guest complaints, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Share personal passions and knowledge of hotel services and amenities to help guests feel at home.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate guest feedback and needs to staff and management.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Parking Lot Maintenance: Once daily, chains off the arrival parking spots to ensure the lot is properly organized. This may involve moving or adjusting the chains.
  • Lockbox Management: Pick up lockboxes for late arrivals and place them in a secure location. On nights when lockboxes are used, ensure they are in place for the following day’s arrivals.
  • Weather Appropriate Attire: For any outdoor tasks, it is encouraged that agents wear weather-appropriate clothing, including shoes suitable for the conditions.
  • Item Pickup/Drop-Off: On occasion, agents are required to pick up or drop off items to other properties managed by CoralTree.
  • Mail Handling: When picking up mail from USPS, agents may need to transport packages of varying sizes. It is important to be able to lift and carry boxes safely.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry Boxes: As part of the job, agents will need to be able to lift and carry packages, boxes, and other items as necessary. These tasks are essential to maintaining the smooth flow of operations and are not considered physically demanding but are important for the role.
