About The Position

Shaner Hotels has an amazing opportunity at our 120 room Courtyard by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue!  This property is just steps away from the Giant Center, Hershey Park, Hershey’s Chocolate World, and Zoo America North American Wildlife Park. We are also just a short drive Indian Echo Caverns, the Pennsylvania State Capitol, and the Appalachian Trail.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements
• Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
