About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service while efficiently managing front desk operations. This role is the first and last point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally during check-in and check-out
  • Process reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions accurately
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Maintain accurate guest records and cash handling procedures
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures
