About The Position

The Front Desk Agent at Jay Peak is responsible for providing a welcoming experience for guests upon their arrival, checking them into their accommodations, and ensuring a positive stay. This role involves assisting guests with resort amenities, resolving issues, and providing information about the resort and surrounding areas. The position requires a friendly demeanor and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and check them into hotel rooms or condominiums.
• Access guest reservation files on the computer and advise on the balance due for their stay.
• Provide guests with appropriate keys for their assigned room or condo.
• Use an area map to guide guests to their accommodations and explain how to get there.
• Issue ski tickets, water park vouchers, and golf vouchers as part of guest packages during respective seasons.
• Orient guests on the location of various service areas and amenities within the resort.
• Make dining room reservations when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Troubleshoot guest issues and consult with supervisors for resolution when necessary.
• Collaborate with security personnel to assist guests with location or vehicle problems.
