About The Position

The Front Desk Agent at Grand Pacific Palisades is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a warm and friendly manner. This part-time role involves checking guests in and out, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints, all while maintaining a professional demeanor. The position requires good judgment and the ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette is required.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the hospitality industry (time share preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and thorough individual.

Responsibilities

  • Check guests/owners in and out of the resort.
  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls from guests/owners.
  • Meet and exceed guest/owner expectations by providing exceptional customer service by phone or in person.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, owners, supervisors, and associates.
  • Resolve customer complaints and problems calmly and effectively.
  • Obtain or confirm guest information, assign rooms, and activate and distribute keys.
  • Occasionally assist guests with loading or unloading luggage utilizing the staircase if necessary.
  • Occasionally deliver guest request items to and from rooms.
  • Conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
