About The Position

Golden Nugget Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours while accurately balancing and auditing the hotel’s daily financial transactions. This position ensures the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of hotel guests, processes check‑ins and check‑outs, and completes all required accounting and reporting tasks for the day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic accounting or cash-handling experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and hotel PMS systems (training provided)
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, welcome, and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and provide hotel information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Reconcile and balance all hotel daily transactions for rooms, outlets, and departments.
  • Verify and post charges, payments, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and distribute end‑of‑day reports to management.
  • Ensure accuracy of guest folios and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Complete system backups and roll the date in the property management system (PMS).
  • Monitor hotel premises and report any suspicious activity.
  • Follow all emergency procedures as needed.
  • Ensure only registered guests access secure areas during overnight hours.
  • Process reservations and modify bookings as needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for next‑day needs.
  • Assist with preparing daily paperwork, key packets, and shift materials.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance cash drawers.
