About The Position

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient exam rooms and room patients.
  • Assist physicians or healthcare providers during exams, minor procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare biopsy specimens and ensure they are sent to the Lab.
  • Provide patients with post-procedure care documents.
  • Schedule patient appointments and confirm appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Handle patient inquiries and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Check patient eligibility and benefits, assist with authorizations and referrals.
  • Sterilize medical equipment using the autoclave.
  • Ensure proper stocking of medical supplies and equipment at each location.
  • Maintain proper disposal of medical waste, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
