About The Position

Are you a people person with a knack for organization? The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University is looking for Front Area Administrative Coordinators to be the welcoming face and efficient heart of our bustling hospital. In this role, you’ll greet clients, manage front-desk operations, and ensure smooth communication between our veterinary teams and the public. If you’re detail-oriented, love working with both people and animals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love for you to join our team! To ensure full consideration, applications to this open pool must be received by 11:59 p.m. (MT) on June 30, 2026. Applications will be reviewed as hiring needs arise. Applicants wishing to remain in the pool after this date must reapply. Essential Job Duties: This position provides support for the general administrative operations of a given unit. Responsibilities include reception duties, scheduling, producing reports and correspondence, assisting in fiscal activities and rendering consistent office support. May assist with organizing meetings, travel and events.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6 months of general clerical experience

Nice To Haves

  • Call center, business office, medical record, and/or reception experience
  • Demonstrated experience with online scheduling systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (assessed via written materials and during interview process)
  • Independent decision-making skills (assessed during interview process)
