Requirements

• A passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance
• Ability to pass a background check through DHS

Responsibilities

• Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching through different situations, participating in home and community activities)
• Support in transportation of varying activities important to the person as well as attend medical appointments as needed
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation)
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy
• Documenting care accurately to ensure accurate medical records
