About The Position

Duxbury High School is seeking a freshman baseball coach for the 2025 season. The coach will be responsible for planning practices and managing games for the freshman team, which operates on a separate schedule from the varsity team. This position reports directly to the varsity head coach and is integral to the development of student-athletes in a supportive educational environment.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching baseball at the high school level or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and school staff.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a head coach or assistant coach in baseball.
• Knowledge of current baseball strategies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices for the freshman baseball team.
• Manage game schedules and logistics for the freshman team.
• Report directly to the varsity head coach and collaborate within the coaching system.
