About The Position

The Freight Handling position involves managing and processing freight safely and accurately within the facility. This role includes loading, unloading, order filling, packing, and processing freight in a timely manner. Employees are expected to report any unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures to management. The use of freight handling equipment must be done safely and correctly, and maintaining a clean work environment is essential for safety and compliance. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity is required, along with ensuring the quality and integrity of freight. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handles and processes freight in a safe and correct manner through the facility to the Stores.
• Loads, unloads, order fills, packs, and/or processes freight in an accurate and timely manner.
• Reports unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures to management.
• Uses freight handling equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Ensures freight quality and integrity.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
