About The Position
The Freight Handler loads, unloads and transports freight within or near terminal, yard or work site. Responsibilities include reading work orders or following oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved, loading and unloading freight, and securing loads to prevent shifting or damage in transit. The role also involves cleaning work areas and operating industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials.
