About The Position

Frasier Direct is a leading logistics and transportation company, committed to providing innovative solutions for our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Freight Broker to join our growing team. As a Freight Broker, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the movement of goods for our customers, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Previous experience in freight brokering, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation, supply chain management, and industry regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between shippers and carriers to arrange the transportation of goods across various industries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Evaluate the best shipping routes, taking into consideration cost, time, and customer preferences.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their shipments and address any issues or concerns.
• Build and maintain a network of reliable, quality carriers and manage contracts and agreements.
• Monitor the progress of shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, and proactively resolving any issues that arise.
• Ensure all shipments comply with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and other relevant documents.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's portfolio.
