About The Position

As a Freight Broker Agent at Jerich USA Inc, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our trucking division by building strong relationships with clients and carriers. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience in freight sales or operations is a plus, however we will train the right individual
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with carriers, employees, and management
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform accurate work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask and execute assignments in a timely manner
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong sales and customer service orientation
• Computer Skills: MS Excel, MS Outlook

Responsibilities

• Post and monitor load boards to find coverage on available loads
• Email and call new and existing carriers to find coverage on available loads
• Negotiate rates and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
• Provide prompt responses to customer requests
• Cultivate strong relationships with carriers
• Follow up and monitor assigned carriers picking up loads to ensure coverage and ETAs
• Work with various warehouses to schedule/update loading appointments and carrier integrity
• Enter coverage costs; assist with accessorial invoices discrepancies
• Rate out shipments utilizing full and partial truck loads
• Monitor and assist in early and late shift responsibilities ensuring loads are booked and picked up
• Update all necessary Jerich folders and files on a daily basis
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
