About The Position
As a Freight Associate at Dollar Tree, you will play a crucial role in the operations of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the complete operations of the assigned store, ensuring that all tasks and duties are executed efficiently. This position requires you to be fully cross-trained, allowing you to assist with various functions including cash register operations, customer service, and stock replenishment. You will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is pleasant and cooperative. In addition to customer service, you will be responsible for handling all sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register. This includes maintaining the security of all cash and protecting company assets. You will also assist in the merchandising of the store, which involves receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to work in a safe manner while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
