About The Position

The Freezer Sanitation Associate at UNFI is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, particularly in a temperature-controlled environment. This full-time role supports the distribution center's general upkeep and ensures a safe working environment while adhering to company cleaning procedures.

Requirements

• Reach and lift cleaning work aides and supplies weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.
• Operate large floor cleaning machines and equipment.
• Push and pull heavy floor cleaning machines.
• Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Perform repetitive arm movements required for cleaning procedures.
• Use and operate related work aides such as brooms, dust mops, mops, mop buckets.

• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
