Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Management Level: Class 4 Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's Hours - 3:00 am until finished Pay - 23.25/hr. Job Description: Responsible for weighing and ticketing all rack of logs. Responsible for placing and identifying all processed meats in proper locations within the freezer. Responsible for weighing and ticketing all combos and carries to warehouse. Responsible for cleaning freezer walls and floor. Responsible for rotating racks to maintain proper temperature of logs. Responsible for taking inventory of rack weights. Ability to make decisions and act on material to be used. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000. Must be able to recognize product that may not meet standards. Be capable of thinking through situations & have forward thinking to resolve issues. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to drive forklift and pass the forklift test in order to become certified. Must have excellent written & oral communication skills. Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 30 seconds. Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to drive forklift and pass the forklift test in order to become certified.
  • Must have excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
  • Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 30 seconds.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.
  • Must be under 6 attendance points and have no written disciplinary actions in the last 6 months.
