About The Position

The Freezer Associate is responsible for transferring product into and out of storage areas, picking product for customer orders, and loading product onto trailers. This position requires reading, interpreting, and executing Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions, recognizing and correcting potential process errors, and ensuring product accountability throughout the logistical process. The associate will also participate as a member of the team, fostering strong cohesiveness and communication regarding major issues such as direction, annual plans, and policy changes.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of related warehouse/freezer experience.
• 1 year of experience with powered lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transfer product into and out of storage areas.
• Pick product for customer orders.
• Load product onto trailers.
• Read and interpret WMS order instructions.

• Identify and take action on damaged products.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify the number of pallets picked.
• Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation.
• Enter data into WMS computer systems.

• Support business objectives and maintain familiarity with operating systems.
