The Dairy & Freezer Clerk is responsible for maintaining the dairy and freezer sections by ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members. The Dairy & Freezer Clerk plays an essential role in keeping the department organized and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the perishables team. Team members are expected to demonstrate inclusive behavior, make ethical choices, and approach work with a positive, solution-oriented mindset, fostering open communication and trust. Clerks create a positive experience by engaging with Members in a friendly and helpful manner, responding to their needs promptly, and escalating unresolved issues to a supervisor. They must consistently deliver GOLD Standards, perform daily responsibilities with accuracy to support improvement in key performance areas, and help the club meet or exceed targets. Cost discipline is required by using supplies responsibly and following scheduling expectations. The role supports performance and profitability by completing tasks efficiently and accurately, following best practices, and understanding how the role impacts key club metrics and overall department performance.
