About The Position

The Dairy & Freezer Clerk is responsible for maintaining the dairy and freezer sections by ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members. The Dairy & Freezer Clerk plays an essential role in keeping the department organized and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the perishables team.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer by stocking all products according to company standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy by monitoring temperature control and replenishing low or missing items.
• Execute proper product rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Conduct quality and date checks on products to uphold food safety standards.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance by following all relevant standards.
• Support product availability by monitoring in-stock levels and assisting with replenishment efforts.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing for all items.
• Support seasonal merchandising initiatives to enhance the member shopping experience.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
