About The Position
We have a great opportunity for a Freelance Vice President, Physical Production. In this exciting position, the Freelance Vice President, Physical Production will oversee all aspects of physical production on current series and new development. This role is crucial in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, balancing the creative needs of the shows with the financial resources available to produce them. The Vice President will provide insight and guidance to efficiently resolve creative, production, and post-production hurdles, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards within the constraints of budget and schedule. The Vice President will collaborate with various departments, including Business Affairs, Legal, and Creative, to strategize and develop systems that maximize company resources across all shows. This involves informing and involving key departments both internally and externally on projects throughout all stages of the pipeline to maximize their value. The role requires close collaboration with show producers, line producers, and key department heads to ensure that shows are produced at the highest quality. To be successful in this role, candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the production process from bottom to top, including field production, writing, postproduction, story structure, and staff management. This position is ideal for someone with a wealth of experience in production and a passion for storytelling.
