About The Position
Bou is a new-school Nordic brand company that builds brands in various domains; including design, marketing, development and communications. We believe that ideal teams are built with a diverse range of experiences; to support this, we have created a freelancer platform that enables us to collaborate closely with freelance creatives, actively connecting proficient freelancers with engaging clients. We are currently looking for a US-based, tech-savvy PR and communications freelancer, who has strong relationships with lifestyle & mass media, to join our project team for our upcoming project.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Strong experience (5+ years) in PR & communications
- Strong relationships with and track record of successfully pitching to US-based tier 1 lifestyle and general news media
- Previous PR experience in food, health & wellness verticals
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in influencer campaigns & PR packages is a bonus
- Crisis communication know-how is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Leading PR & Media outreach in the US, working directly with our Europe-based client and the rest of our brand team
- Media outreach to select journalists
- Contribute to the overall PR strategy with local insights, and working closely with the rest of the project team to execute the strategy
