About The Position

Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for 20 consecutive years, while FBN currently ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by FOX Corporation, FOX News Media reaches 200 million people each month. FOX News Channel is looking for a Freelance Producer for My View with Lara Trump. The Freelance Producer will utilize their strong editorial judgement to help execute compelling interviews and guest segments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience as a producer
- Experience with producing news packages
- Strong logistical and editorial skills with knowledge of national and international stories
- Ability to be a self-starter who can work independently, as well as a team player
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be flexible with your schedule and willing to work both weekdays and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with iNews is a plus
Responsibilities
- Pitch unique feature stories and interview guests
- Be read-in and remain updated with current events and topics of interest
- Use editorial judgment to develop interview research packets for host
- Provide concise and informative scripts for show tapings
- Work with a team to produce compelling and informative packages based on interviews conducted in the field
- Build video and graphic elements as needed
