FOX Sports is seeking experienced Freelance Graphics Operators (Erizos Studio) to support live studio production. The Freelance Graphics Operator will execute real-time AR/XR graphics in a fast-paced broadcast environment, working closely with producers, directors, and design teams to deliver dynamic on-air visuals. This is a freelance IATSE role and requires membership in the Union and adhere to the minimum conditions described in the bargaining agreement
Requirements
- Experience operating real-time broadcast graphics systems in live production
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine and/or Pixotope
- Strong understanding of 3D coordinate systems (world, camera, object space)
- Ability to communicate clearly with directors and camera operators while working in a 3D space
- Ability to stay organized and execute under tight time constraints
- Available early mornings, evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Erizos Studio
- Familiarity with soccer
Responsibilities
- Operate Erizos Studio to trigger and control AR, XR, and virtual studio elements during live broadcasts
- Execute graphics within a rundown-driven, template-based workflow
- Navigate and adjust 3D environments to ensure accurate spatial alignment of AR/XR elements
- Position, rotate, and scale virtual objects relative to live cameras and set geometry
- Verify depth, occlusion, perspective, and parallax for seamless on-air integration
- Interface with Pixotope (Unreal Engine environments) via established plugins and workflows
- Manage assets using Media Hub and Erizos Agent
- Maintain focus and accuracy under live, high-pressure conditions
