About The Position

Life Alive Organic Cafe is the place for positive eating, where enjoying organic, crave-worthy food fuels a life filled with energy, optimism and simply feeling good. Through each joyful interaction and scratch-prepared dish served in our unique, quick service cafes, we work toward bringing to life our higher purpose to energize the vitality all living beings and our planet. You'll bring the Life Alive brand to life across a diverse range of marketing materials, including café and event signage, email campaigns, loyalty program assets, menus, promotional offers, flyers, direct mail, website updates, digital asset resizing, and branded merchandise. Working closely with our VP of Marketing, Director of Customer Engagement, Marketing Manager, and Digital & Social Media Coordinator, you’ll help develop and execute creative concepts that capture Life Alive’s authentic energy. You’ll primarily report to the VP of Marketing, collaborating in a dynamic, mission-driven environment where creativity and purpose intersect.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong design skills across print, digital, branding, and merchandise
  • Photo retouching and illustration/iconography capabilities
  • An appreciation for great copywriting and the ability to integrate it seamlessly with visuals
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities and comfort presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience managing timelines, priorities, and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Print production file preparation experience
  • A thoughtful, highly skilled graphic designer with an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling
  • Enthusiastic about delicious, nourishing food and the positive impact healthy eating has on people, communities, and the planet
  • Deeply empathetic to guests, with strong brand sensitivity and an inclusive, accessible approach
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail throughout the creative process
  • An excellent communicator who can present concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Google Workspace, Mailchimp, and Storyblok
  • Comfortable building presentation decks and writing clean, compelling copy
  • A flexible schedule to accommodate varying workloads and occasional short-notice requests
