About The Position

The CBS owned and operated duopoly in West Sacramento has an immediate opening for a news editor to work for CBS 13 and our independent 31.Candidates should have a strong background in putting compelling stories together for our viewers. More than three years television news experience required. (Please do not apply if you do not have a background in television news). Candidates should have a working knowledge of NLE platforms (GRASS VALLEY EDIUS is a plus). Candidates should be flexible enough to work morning’s, nights and weekends at a moment’s notice. We’re looking for storytellers and team players. You must be very creative and have a passion for news. No phone calls please.
