Freelance Digital Video Specialist
About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic digital content creator with a passion for sports to join FOX Sports Digital. The Freelance Digital Video Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging content for sports and podcasts, condensing podcast segments into optimized vertical videos for platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. They will contribute to the daily operations of our YouTube and TikTok channels and produce full game highlights that highlight key storylines. A strong knowledge of sports and experience in editing full-length podcasts and VODs are essential for this role. Requirements
- Experience editing Reel - include 9x16 and 16x9 examples
- Advanced Adobe Premiere knowledge, video editing, and storytelling
- Advanced knowledge of digital platforms, YouTube, and TikTok
- Intermediate Photoshop knowledge, YouTube thumbnail creation
- Writing skills and SEO experience
- Understanding how to best optimize video for the following platforms: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Foxsports.com
- Build and maintain relationships across a variety of groups including social media, production, and other show teams
- 1+ year of Digital/TV editorial experience
- Familiar with digital platforms, industry terminology, and understand deadlines
- Effectively communicate with social media managers, producers, and other project stakeholders
- Knowledge of how to edit compelling video content using Adobe Premiere
- Strong vertical video editing skills for TikTok/Reels/YouTube shorts, including caption creation, added visual elements, storytelling
- Strong written and grammatical skills required for writing video metadata
- Strong sports knowledge and a passion for sports
- Experience editing full length podcast and VOD/headline creation
- Experience in day-to-day operations of running a YouTube Channel
- Ability to manage and organize multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work weekends and nights as needed and work in the office daily since schedules will vary by season with sports

Responsibilities
- Create fun digital content for Sports and Podcasts

- Condense podcast segments into vertical videos that are optimized for different digital platforms i.e. TikTok and YouTube Shorts (The Joel Klatt Show, Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour)
- Run or contribute to day-to-day operations of YouTube and TikTok channels
- Edit full length podcasts and VODs
