About The Position

Brunswick, a global marine leader, is seeking an energetic sales professional to join Freedom Boat Club (FBC) as a Membership Executive. This role involves selling memberships for locations in Southeast Florida, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Homestead, and Islamorada. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and a strong sales background, particularly in selling non-tangible services. The position requires a commitment to driving sales and generating revenue while providing exceptional service to potential members.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience
  • Experience with guerilla marketing, networking, hosting events, and closing deals
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated success in selling intangible products
  • Ability to pass a background/education check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Explain the Freedom Boat Club experience and convert prospects into members.
  • Close sales deals effectively.
  • Ask questions to ensure understanding of prospects' needs and address their concerns.
  • Navigate the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to communicate with prospects via text, call, and email.
  • Partner with marketing to organize and host events such as boat shows, trade shows, open houses, and member socials.
  • Network within the community to raise awareness of the Club and its offerings.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current members to encourage referrals.
  • Collaborate with a team of Membership Executives to share best practices and improve sales techniques.
  • Be available for non-traditional hours to respond to prospects and host events.
